The chapter is proud to announce that we are co-sponsoring this event with Federal Premium Ammunition. It is an opportunity for all youth to try their hand at trap, skeet, 5-stand and sporting clays in a controlled, safe environment.
This year's event is scheduled for May 20 and 21, 2023. Sign up will open up in mid April on the PF Event Center website.
The 2023 Youth Hunt will be held at Wild Wings of Oneka in Hugo on October 7th. The event includes a safety brief, clay target shooting, field training, hunting with experienced guides, mentors and dogs, lunch and a ringneck membership.
Participants should be between 12 and 15, and must have successfully completed hunter safety and have their parents permission. Due to overwhelming interest the last few years, we limit the number of participants to 50 participants.
Contact Jon Olson at (651) 248-5051 or jonmolson@olsonsinthepink.com if interested in participating, volunteering or donating to this event.
Each year, Chisago County Chapter has contributed $2,500 in scholarships to Chisago Lakes High School, North Branch High School and Rush City High School students pursuing degrees in a conservation science. Thanks to Edward Jones Investments, our scholarship fund is growing and will enable us to continue awarding scholarships in the future.
Each year the chapter sponsors future outdoorsman and conservationist to attend TUNE Camp and Bird Camp during the Summer.
Chapter Committee Members donate their time mentoring the campers at TUNE Camp.
